Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about the Crypto with Confidence course:

The class does not focus on investing in crypto. While you will learn how to buy and store cryptocurrency in the class, our training also targets sending crypto currency, including the scenario where a vendor is requiring that a payment is submitted via cryptocurrency. We dive into specifics of 4 types of crypto: Bitcoin, Solana, USDT and PayPal USD.

We cover a lot! We start with the basics of understanding cryptocurrency, understanding stable coins, the blockchain, wallets, exchanges, how to buy and store crypto, how to send and receive crypto, how to swap, and more. We dedicate about an hour of the two hour class to a live demo within Exodus wallet, and we also show you a crypto purchase through MoonPay. Want to know everything that is covered? The class is held via Zoom. It is a one-time 2 hour class. To ensure that we are able to provide students the personalized attention they need, we limit enrollment to a maximum of 6 students per class.

No, not at all. While many students do choose to share their camera, it is certainly not required. Our only ask is that if you are confused or unsure about something we are explaining during the class, you speak up or send a chat message to let the instructor know. We want to make sure the concepts we’re teaching make sense – and if we need to explain something a different way or add some clarification we’re happy to do so.

No problem. We recommend that you go ahead and book it to reserve your spot, but if you need to reschedule or cancel that’s perfectly fine. That’s an easy change – the confirmation email you get when you book the class will include a link to our booking system where you can choose a new class time or cancel if you don’t know when you can make it fit.

Yes. You can cancel up to 12 hours before class right from the link in your confirmation email. If it’s closer than that to class time, email us at jen@cryptowithconfidenceclass.com and we’ll get you cancelled manually on our end. Either way, we’re happy to offer a full refund, no questions asked. Of course we hope to see you at another time that works better.

You’ll need a tablet, laptop or desktop for best results. The first half of our class is a presentation, and it would be difficult to view without a decent sized screen. A mobile phone is also good! We suggest that students download Exodus Wallet before the class (but not required!). If you have it downloaded on your phone, it makes it easy to follow along a bit as we go and helps the information make more sense.

The class runs on Zoom meetings. While you can download Zoom, it is not required. You can also “join from your browser” and participate in the training just fine.

We also suggest that participants download Exodus wallet, which is available for mobile devices on the App Store or from Google Play. There’s also a Desktop version! Personally we use them all but the mobile version is really the best to have for the training. Learn more at Exodus.com/download.

Yes, there are some requirements for participating in the class.

The class is open to US residents only.

Unfortunately, we can’t be of much help to residents of New York state. A lot of the systems and processes we discuss in the training won’t be accessible in New York.

A valid, current driver’s license is helpful. While it is not specifically required by us to attend the class, students who don’t have one will be unable to purchase cryptocurrency due to identity verification in place by exchanges where crypto is purchased.

After you choose the class time you want to reserve, our booking calendar will connect you to Square Payments where you can securely pay with a Credit or Debit card.

We don’t consider our job complete until you feel confident! Our inbox is always open, whether it’s to share your victory of submitting a successful crypto payment or to double check what your next steps should be.

For privacy purposes, we don’t record the training and we ask that our participants don’t either. However, we do send a copy of our presentation out to your email after the training, along with a few other documents we think might be helpful for you as you move forward.

Sure! That is absolutely fine. Feel free to bring a spouse, partner, friend, or roommate.

Yes. If we have a class coming up shortly that is not full, we can generally offer remaining spots at a lower rate. Please reach out through our contact form and let us know which class you’re hoping to attend.

No, we think you’ll fit in just fine! The class starts with the fundamentals of understanding what cryptocurrency is and builds on that. We’ve had great response from folks who felt completely clueless about crypto coming into the class.
